Families in Transition
There are times when families need special assistance in providing for essential needs. The risk of homelessness, unemployment, or utility shut-off can cause emergencies that threaten basic family well-being.
Our Families in Transition staff members are on the front lines of helping those who are falling through the cracks of our system. Our first focus is on helping families address their immediate crisis situation by providing an extensive collaboration of community-based agencies.
A Family Services Specialist then works with the family to develop a family stabilization plan, and to help connect them with available resources.
