Washington County Department of Human Services
Services for People with Disabilities
Aid to the Needy-Disabled (AND) provides cash payment to raise an eligible person's income from other sources to $240.00 per month. NO MEDICAL COVERAGE IS PROVIDED.
Long Term Care: There are several Long Term Care Programs available to those with disabilities.
Medical Assistance: Eligible persons may qualify for Medicare, Medicaid or both.
Additional benefits recipients may qualify for include:
- Food Stamp Benefits
- Financial assistance to reduce winter heating costs (LIEAP)
- Discount from monthly telephone bills
