Professional Objective

The job of County Attorney is more than just the courtroom. The job requires that you be involved in all parts of the community. To fulfill this responsibility, the Washington County Attorney serves as legal counsel to the Board of Commissioners and all county departments. The County Attorney works with various agencies to enforce health, safety and consumer regulations; works to protect the rights of the elderly and disabled; plays a significant roll in the enforcement of child support orders; works to coordinate victim services; and has undertaken educational outreach programs that benefit all citizens of this county.
